What is difference between si908, sim900 and sim900A ?

I am working on project in which i have to use GSM+GPRS+GPS as single module. I am searching for that in different websites but i found sim808 is avaliable so i want to know Difference between them. Also suggest website or store from where I buy all three(GSM+GPRS+GPS) in single module/board which is compatible with raspberry pi. I am located in India.

Firstly there is a lot of terminology needed before comparing. I would look at this for a help in general: http://tronixstuff.com/2014/01/08/tutorial-arduino-and-sim900-gsm-modules/ . A good reference for the new sim808 is SIM808 GSM/GPRS/GPS Module - ITEAD Wiki . From this https://www.adafruit.com/products/2542, any UART can be used including the Raspberry Pi but you need more like antenna and more. A little project from same people is https://learn.adafruit.com/geofencing-with-the-fona-808-and-adafruit-io. Do your homework and this can work.
