NEED HELP QUICK!!!!

Question

I am frustrated hugely. I want to break my raspberry PI 3 in half. My raspberry pi is rebooting again and again. It has a colorful screen and it goes on the install screen. I press install and it reboots. I have a raspberry pi 1 and I put the same sd card In it, and it worked!! I have spent days on this, this is driving me crazy. I used the same power supply and every thing that was on my raspberry pi 1. NEED HELP PLEASE GET BACK TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sounds like it may be an issue with the cable to me. While it may work on the Raspberry Pi 1 (not sure which model you have so I won't be able to give you the exact benchmark numbers for current/power draw), the current/power draw of the Raspberry Pi 3 is much higher, I would recommend trying a new cable, as well as maybe a direct install of the OS rather than through NOOBS
