Connecting laptop Lcd screen,powersupply and keyboard to the raspberry pi

My old ASUS X5DIJ Notebook has been lying around for ages it's motherboard had fried. I was wondering if i could connect the LCD screen, the power supply and keyboard from the laptop to the raspberry pi and incase it in the original laptop incasement.

Certainly the display is a problem. Each computer has an internal way of "handling" the display. Then they use some chips to convert to something standard like VGA or HDMI. Then the reverse step happens in the display the "standard format" HDMI, DVI or VGA is converted back to something more suitable for THAT display.

In a laptop those conversion steps are skipped. There is no HDMI-> DISPLAY conversion chip in the laptop anywhere.

On the other hand, boards like these lcd driver hdmi | eBay may work. But be sure to ask clearly if the board will work with your specific screen. I think those boards have to be adjusted for your screen too. Let them do that. It is difficult if you're doing it for the first time.
