Raspberry Pi 3 and Display over battery?

Does anyone here know the best way to power a Raspberry Pi 3 and a Display with a battery? I could use a LiPo (maybe a few in series or parallel), or maybe a battery bank. But if I use a LiPo then I need to bring the voltage down to 5v for the Pi, and at the same time up to 12v for the display. How could I do this? Do I need 2 power regs? I'm pretty lost, so all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for all the replies! Because some of you are going in your own directions (which is fine) I'm just gonna make a new reply with some more information. I have an old Macbook battery, as well as the screen. I plan on buying a driver board for it, and most require 12v. The battery has three 3.7v Li-Ions inside, so I can take those out, and connect them in series-parallel to get 12v at a high AH rating. I could then use a regulator to power the Pi. The only issue right now is charging the batteries. The Sparkfun board I was gonna use only supports 1 cell, and I'm gonna have 3 cells wired up in series parallel. So how can I charge them? Is there an alternative Lithium charging circuit that can allow me to charge the battery safely and have it output 12v again (as it's charging as well as while its not and without a manual switch) that I could use? Thanks for your help!

    EDIT:

I recently discovered a board called the TP4056. Any info on it? Can a few perhaps charge a 3s battery pack, as well as provide 12v?
