I'm planning on buying a touchscreen display for my RPi 3, but I've read discussions where people claim that it doesn't work with Debian Jessie.
Can anyone please clarify this for me?

Thank you for you input, I'm planning on buying a smaller 2.8" TFT Touch Screen like this one.

A 2.8" Display is Cute, but using the Virtual (on screen) Keyboard might pose a problem. On my 7" Display, the virtual Keyboard is barely use-able. BTW when I connect both a USB Mouse and USB Keyboard, BOTH the virtual I/O device(s) WORK Concurrently w/ the USB-Counterpart(s). Pretty-Cool.

It really is! A 7" display would provide a lot more real estate to play with, but I'm trying to keep the footprint as small as possible. I don't plan on using the display for development procedures as such. It's for a home automation project I'm working on. I'll be designing a GUI in Tkinter to display on the available video output.
