I have asked this on 20 sites and no one will provide any answer other then a link to the stupid github with false information in my case.. I need to know how i am supposed to set this up, i am supposed to use a Debian Jessie based Raspbian or retropi 3.5, so i have tried 3.5 and nothing would work the straight bt would not work the command line mentioned would not work, so i updated to the lastest version, and still nothing, for 1hr i was stuck not even being able to type anything after sudo bluetoothctl until i found somebody with the same issue from last year and was finally able to start tying in the commands until nothing actually happened, everyone reports day in and day out that it works and setup is easy, well i thought pi was supposed to help teach people, all this has taught me is i freaking hate linux and pi, I have a pi zero, i have a logitech k400r, a wii u pro controller and a targus bt adapter, i have tried using retro pi's newest version, along with updating the script, and all drivers, what am i doing wrong..

If you actually want help with troubleshooting, you need to provide us with actionable information, not a ranting block of text.

A couple questions I think you should summarize in short form. I tried reading your post twice and still see nothing.

    1. Does the retropi installation currently work? You mention you can now input some commands?
    2. Have you connected a display to the RetroPi? Do you see anything?
    3. Which specific install were you trying? Provide links.
    4. Do you get any error messages at all?
    5. What install guides are you following?
