The OS is a pre-PIXEL raspbian jessie stable overclocked fork with a browser VPN, and has Chromium browser v56, and Adobe/pepper flash v26, and is on Kernel 4.9.35, "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install chromium-browser" no longer upgrades the browser above v56 from the raspbian jessie repository, and switching to the stretch repository results in an unusable version of the chromium browser.
My question is, is there another source where an updated version (above v56) of the browser/pepperflash can be obtained that is raspbian jessie compatible? or barring that, is it possible to take the stretch version of the raspbian chromium browser (v60?), and modify it to work with jessie?
