PiFace CAD with Raspberry Pi3 is it compatible?

Has anyone tried using the orginal PIface Cad with a raspberry Pi 3.

I can get it to work some of the time but it randomly displays random characters ,which can sometimes be corrected at the next write or they remain and are not removed by the clear command or the display goes blank completely. Help appreciated.

    The answer is yes but!  I think the 2 Amp power supply used for the Pi 3 is noisier than the original 1Amp one and this  noise corrupts the display. The problem can be greatly improved by adding a 47microFarad capacitor across GPIO pins 2 and 6 on the PiFace Cad. It still does corrupt occasionally and this can be resolved by adding a complete clear and refresh of the display every now and again.
