Where can I find software downloads for my Raspberry Pi Desktop Please

Question

The software I require is "pidesktop-base.deb” needed for connecting to a hard drive on the Desktop.

The Manual states in Para. 2.5 Software Installation that I need to ($ sudo dpkg -i pidesktop-base-1.1.0.deb) after downloading from www.element14.com/PiDesktop.

I am unable to find where this download is. Can anybody Help? Please.

Well. you can go to https://www .element14.com/PiDesktop , and then click on "downloads". The bottom link there leads you to a place where you can download the pidesktop-bases.deb package, but without the version numbers in the filename. Edit: The stupid forumsoftware here thinks the https is a link and the rest does not belong to the link. I have no mercy for software like that.
