Is there a Pi Desktop box available for the Raspberry Pi 4 board? Or will there be? Similar to https://canada.newark.com/element14/pi-desktop/accessory-type-desktop-computer/dp/05AC3756

Thanks for the link. I was looking for a similar unit as the RPI 3 as I wanted more than just a case. I wanted the add-on board, power switch and the ability to essentially have a desktop box, etc.

The add-on board included with the Pi Desktop will likely work on the Raspberry Pi 4, it's just that the enclosure won't match the Pi 4 layout. The scripts would also need to be adapted to work with the latest version of Raspbian.

    Hi Scott,

There is no such RPi 4 desktop available according to my knowledge. But I cam be pretty sure that it will appear any time soon.

But I can propose some hack solution for now.

    Get the RPi Kit.

Right now it will not support RPi 4. Because the PCB layout has been changed from 3B+ to 4. But you can use the PCB HAT in my opinion. You may have to reconfigure the GPIO numbering and tinker with code a bit.

But I am sure it will work.

The casing is completely unusable. If you know 3D modeling, You can 3D print one for few dollars. Or you can ask help from someone in the community.

Sounds like an interesting problem to solve.

    Let me know you thought,

    Aswin
