I am looking for a Interchangeable plug type adapter with BIS (Indian) approval .
Can you give some more information about what adapter you are talking about? For the GPIO connectors ?
Your profile membership date suggests you are new to the E14 Community, welcome.
Can you clarify what connector you are looking to adapt? Is it power, HDMI or some other. You indicate BIS (Indian approval). I suspect power but what is it you are trying to do. Interchange power adapter? Just not sure.
Hi I am looking for Adapter (15W ) for Raspberry PI 4 Board with Type C Output connector for Indian Market .
I found a Raspberry Pi 4 B power supply for the India market at https://export.farnell.com/raspberry-pi/sc0217/rpi-power-supply-usb-c-5-1v-3a/dp/3106945
What is ironic is the AC plug type and the DC plug type are both type C. I attached the datasheet that was available with the product.
Hi Sir
I am unable to find a BIS Certified adapter for Indian market
I am assuming the link I provided https://export.farnell.com/raspberry-pi/sc0217/rpi-power-supply-usb-c-5-1v-3a/dp/3106945?COM=RaspberryPi is not working for you? This is a product for the India market.
I find it hard to fathom there is not a product for a market as large as India.
Hi Vinutha,
You are right Raspberry Pi 4 charger is not BIS certified. But you can use any BIS certified USB adapter with 3Amps output.
I just saw this in amazon. https://www.amazon.in/Powerup-Charged-Certified-Adapter-Smartphones/dp/B07D9NKQCQ
The other option is getting Raspberry pi charger BIS certified. I am not sure how much will that cost. Since it has FCC Part 15 SDOC ICES-003 CB Test Certificate GS Certificate LVD 2014/35/EU certificate UL Energy Efficiency Certificate NOA UL Leaf Mark SAA RCM . Getting BIS won't be a deal. But again it may cost you a bit. If your application has that budget bandwidth go for it.

Aswin
