Why do the specs for the PiB not include a mechanical -  for mounting hole distances?

Can anyone provide since Element14 seems unwilling -  do they want us to use these or not?

I have a pdf with Pi model B+ dimensions and as far as the mounting holes and expansion connector go I believe they are the same for the Pi 3 and Pi 4. I can't insert the pdf into this reply

because the image type is forbidden. The print for the dimension on the original is very small but very readable when the pdf is magnified. I have converted the pdf to a jpeg image which

they do accept but the jpg image is barely readable when it is magnified. Anybody know if there is a better image format for this?

Ok thanks -  if they are all the same no matter who makes them, then I have the dims. It just looked like E14's might have one of their holes in a slightly diff spot.

I've got a B+ and a 4 so I put them back to back and the mount hoies line up. E14's should be no different.

Ok thanks, I'll go ahead with the CAD since the probability is high. I get why E14 might not want to publish the Gerbers, but the mechanicals? (Their FAQ says they just don't)

The mounting holes haven't moved since the redesign of the Raspberry Pi with the "Raspberry Pi Model B+". This is part of the 'HAT' standard that Raspberry Pi Trading introduced:

    https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/introducing-raspberry-pi-hats/

    https://github.com/raspberrypi/hats

element14 don't publish more than necessary at the request of Pi Trading whom publish what they wish to on the Raspberry Pi site and github.
