Hi everyone, I am really new to hardware/technology like this. I can easily run a computer or smart phone but I have no idea what all is inside them. I'm wanting to create a handheld Virtual Pet device.It's basically like the Tamagotchi On/Meets but has so much more to do. 
9 different menu Options to close from with each option opening up more than one thing to do or change/ 14 different locations to visit and do things at/ many many different types of foods(cold,hot and nonperishables)/ pets stores for your VPet to get their own pet/pet supplies from and much more. The device itself has many different components to it(device will be rechargeable with a USB type C charger/Infrared-Bluetooth-Wifi for connecting/wanting to be able to insert a SD/Micro SD card for more storage/ volume slider with five different options and it will click into place for each volume setting/headphone jack/vibration feature/ rechargeable battery that can be replaced when it dies out) and more. The main thing is I have no idea where to start or what type of materials I need to accomplish what I want to do. If anyone has time to help me with my project I would greatly appreciate it.
