hi i am 14 years old and i have a big passion for programming and i just got a raspberry pi and i just wondered is there any good projects for me to do and what resouces do i need

It depends upon what interests you.

The Raspberry Pi can be used for a number of different areas whether that is games programming, a way of interacting with Internet applications (eg. Twitter) or controlling an electronic circuit. The Python programming language is a good place to start for most types of applications and if you are interested in games programming it's worth looking at PyGame. There is an excellent book free to download (or purchase as a printed copy) Invent Your Own Computer Games with Python
