Unfortunately the restriction on the number of audio channels which can be supported between the Raspberry Pi BCM2835 SoC and the WM5102 is due to the digital audio interface. The digital interface is I2S which can only support 2 channels (stereo). The WM5102 can support multiple channels but not using the existing stereo digital interface.
