Power Source?

Hi!

Just bought a pi in Canada. Watched the 'how to get started video' and it states, 'we'll ship you a power source' if you're not in the uk? so...how do I get a power source?

Hi David, for the Pi you need a 5 volts and a micro-USB plug. So if you have a usb cord that ends in a micro USB plug I think that works as a power supply for a Pi

Hello cabuckpi,
I will move this to the Raspberry Pi area of the web site as it is a better fit.

It should be a Micro USB as mazzmn stated and there are a few options HERE

Output Connector: USB Micro
Output Current Max: 1A
Output Power Max: 5 W
Output Voltage Nom.: 5V

Hi David,
If you really urgently need a power, I am using Iphone and Ipad power supply and use USB Micro, so far so good no issues encountered yet.
