Raspberry Pi Blinking on Acer Monitor

I'm using an Acer monitor with an HDMI port. I'm using NOOBS. When my Pi first boots or I go into the GUI, my monitor starts blinking. I have the HDMI boost set to 4 as suggested (it's actually defaulted). Is anyone else seeing similar issues on a multi-input monitor? I'd rather not have to use my TV.

I had an HDMI display problems when I was using RasPi with an iffy power supply. First I would see random dots, and then the display would blank out. I recommend measuring RasPi's 5V level between TP1 and TP2 (ground). It should be between 4.75V and 5.25V for reliable operation. In my case I could go down to 4.65V with no problems, but below that HDMI would start to misbehave. Most RasPi problems have to do with getting 5V to the board. Even if you have a good 5V power supply, many Micro USB cables have very thin conductors which give you enough of a voltage drop that TP1 drops below 4.75V. Got an adapter specifically for my Pi. I think it's a config setting. I'm think I may just use my TV and not my monitor. I'm starting to run in circles.

I would set the output to a lower resolution to see if the problems still occurs and maybe check your cables are not introducing interference from other power cables etc
