P5 pins are too short.

I assembled the Wolfson card and the Pi according to the manual. The PI will not recognize the Wolfson card. I then disassembled the cards and assembled them again, and still no luck. All I get is eleven lines with "amixer: Cannot find the given element from control hw:0" when I run a Use Case Script.

I then inspected the assembly with a magnifying glass and I noticed that the pins for P5 is not into the holes in the PI's PCB. I can even see light through the holes when the PI's and the Wolfson P1 connectors are pressed all the way together. So it looks like the P5 pins are to short, they do not reach properly into the holes in the PI's PCB.

So what do do now?

Are you certain it is the length of the pins that is the issue? Can you attach a picture?
What software are you using?

Have you attached the audio card by using the provided screw ? That tightens the board down until it contacts the P5 pads.

You'r rigth, it's not the length that's the issue. However, there is not contact between all the pads and the pins, så the PI don't find te Wolfson card.
