My sd card and raspbian

hello evreyone , i just got my first raspberry pi , i installed raspbian , and formated the sd , so i can try the other linux on my PI

 

but my 4gb sh hc card now says its only 54 mb can any please tell me what to do?

    It is a little hard to determine the exact sequence of events that you followed.

     

    Did you use NOOBS to install Raspian or did you just flash Raspian to your SD card?

     

    Sounds like you then formatted the card did you change the settings to adjust the size or did you just reformat the existing dos partition.

     

    Sounds like you just formatted the DOS partition. Try using the SD Formatter and setting the options to adjust the size which will format the entire SD card.
