There are several possibilities for cases and mounting the PI inside, the way I normally create a case is by using a wall power adapter housing and using adhesive to mount a thin block of wood or plastic to screw the PI on to then screw the case back together.

Peter since so many people do so many variants of cases why does Clifton want a home built case?
Clifton what are you trying to achieve specifically ? Just customisation or do you have a project in mind?
