Hi all, ive been researching on how to connect an arduino nano to a Rpi and the tutorials Ive found only explain very basic stuff.
Does anyone know where I can find more advanced stuff to do a decent interface between the two.

Hi,
You can refer this link to get an overview : http://blog.retep.org/2014/02/15/connecting-an-arduino-to-a-raspberry-pi-using-i2c/
But as rPi runs on 3v3 and arduino on 5V, I don't recommend you connecting them directly, although in the above article he demonstrates it.
You can use a level shifter for safety. Refer here http://www.nxp.com/documents/application_note/AN10441.pdf
I'm also facing a similar level shift problem and the discussion is going on in this thread : I2C communication between 3.3V uC and 5V uC May be you will find it interesting.
Saying Arduino is 5 V is like saying all cars use reg gas. some dont and with he Arduino you need to look at the various models, some are actually fully 3V3
Oops!!Sorry. My mistake. I generally thought of UNO( or other 5V version ) as it is more popular.
