How can I use LIRC With Rpi & Wolfson

Question

I tried to disabled sieral & UART in order to use LIRC with GPIO15 instead of GPIO18(P1-10 instead of P1-12).

I succed when i do not connect with wolfson,but when i pluged wolfson in to Rpi and powered Rpi

I got an error。

Can anybody give me a method to use LIRC WIth Raspberrypi & Wolfson?

I have configed rpi with Volumio 1.4 ,i can control it with my mobile phone,but i wann to control it with IR Remote control,because of i want to use the wolfson card in my Car)

Nice work! Do you plan to integrate it a bit better into the dashboard?

You might also check that the GPIO 14 and 15 are not occupied by the TTY. I use a patched ArchLinux and it needs a small change in the /boot/cmdline.txt (removing all parts pointing to ttyAMA0); other distributions might need some more changes (> grep -r "ttyAMA0' /etc/* to find possible candidates).

Be sure you also configure the lirc output pin to use gpio 14, otherwise it will use gpio 17 by default which conflicts with the wolfson card.

Your /etc/modprobe.d/lirc.conf file should look like this:

options lirc_rpi gpio_out_pin=14 gpio_in_pin=15

I'm using this config for several months now, and both the wolfson card and my IR receiver work fine with my OpenELEC test-builds.
