At church I am in charge of putting the songs on the projector screen, so I always carry my laptop, charger, hdmi to vga cable, audio cables, video cables, projector etc.
What I want to do is take the raspberry pi a lcd screen, buttons, battery, charger etc. And create a video and images player, easy to use. Anyone would take this device and reproduce a list of videos on a usb stick, right through the video projector hdmi port to reproduce.
Could use XBMC but want something more personalized. I can create a physical prototype but I have not experienced this level of programming.
The LCD display only the list of videos on usb memory and different necessary options like volume, playback etc.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WRITE, OR EVEN BETTER, SHARE A CODE TO HELP ME COMPLETE THIS PROJECT?
