I am using the Wolfson audio card with Squeezeplug (http://www.squeezeplug.eu/). The Squeezeplug developer has included the required Wolfson drivers in the Squeezeplug software.
When I output the sound to the 3.5mm Line out jack on the Wolfson, I only get sound in one channel. I am using a standard 3.5mm to Stereo RCA cable to connect to my amplifier. At first I thought it was this cable that was faulty but when I use a different 3.5mm to Stereo RCA cable I get the same issue, with sound only out of one speaker so I don't believe it the cable.
When I output the sound to the S/PDIF output on the Wolfson (and then use a separate DAC to connect to the amp) I get audio in both channels.
I hope I am doing something stupid, but I think it could be the 3.5mm Line out jack on the Wolfson that is the culprit. I live in Bermuda so returning the Wolfson is unfortunately not an option due to high postage costs. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.
