Raspbian LXDE 1st boot up on hdmi monitor no taskbar HELP!

i just got my pi up and running for the first time ever to day and no taskbar apears, i use raspbian LXDE it also boots up with a white backround instead of the pi logo, i also get a open box syntax error where in XML syntax errors are found on line 1 expected start tag "<".

PLEASE HELP i am so confused.

I often noticed that sometimes my TV scales up the image so that the taskbar appears offscreen, so try just moving your cursor to the bottom.

no, that didnt work. i also tried creating a margin gap between the tv and actual screen but it still isn't there. but when i move my curser to the bottom of the screen it gous under the screen, but if i click noting happens.
