I would like to use Ostinato on my Raspberry Pi for my Network diagnostic does anyone know if this is able to be done?

Not that I even knew what Ostinato was (until I 'Googled' it!) but I see that a similar question was asked on the Raspberry Pi Forum over a year ago: Raspberry Pi • View topic - package for ostinato
Things have probably moved on a bit since then, but it might be of some help to you.
I run Arch on my Raspberry Pi and I see this:
A PKGBUILD is available in AUR maintained by Morfeo. See Installation Instructions.
To see Ostinato in the official Arch community repository, add your vote!
So seems it would work. Google ARCh on Raspberry Pi for install.

Thank you!
I will check this out as soon as I get home and see what I can get working. Ostinato is a very useful program. If I can get this to work on my Raspberry Pi it will make it easier on me instead of having to lug around a huge server.
I just noticed that Raspberry Pi has its own flavor of Fedora which they call Pidora and that is able to run Ostinato. If the Arch does not work I can try loading Pidora to see if I can get Ostinato working. Thanks again
Looks like the source is available for debian, you may want to check before you change distros.
apt-cache search ostinato
https://packages.debian.org/source/sid/ostinato

Debian ..ok so there are a few options when it comes to running Ostinato. As soon as I get it up and running I will post what the outcome was. Thanks
Well, Debian is the "normal" distro most people are using for Ras Pi. They call it Raspbian or debian wheezy. So if you have a Pi that is already running, I am suggesting you see if it is available. If you are starting from scratch, then that's a different story.
