I can't find this bugger in stock anywhere.
Depends on the store
Usually you can click to check stock, which should tell you when the next shipment is arriving BUT doesn;t tell you if they are presold.
If its's any consolation the 2500 for AUS/NZ went in two/three days despite problems finding it with a search.

Hello dp0707
We are receiving regular shipments of the Raspberry Pi 2, I would suggest placing the order so you can get in the queue. We are shipping these on a first come first serve basis. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you,
Jamie
Thanks, regular shipments sounds good to me, was just hoping that it wasn't a multi-month wait. I've already ordered, so I'm good.
FYI, I ordered a RasPi 2 on Feb 5 from Newark. They told me Feb 19 ship date.
I have just spoke with Newark customer service and my Feb 2nd (release day) order won't be shipped until April 1st.
I just found out today that my order is being shipped today. They say that back orders will be fulfilled as soon as new shipments arrive. I would guess you'll get it before April!
I tried to save some hassles and get the RPI2 + SD card, but while the lead time was for next week when I placed the order, it's just moving further and further away.
It seems they're only getting stock for the standalone board. Customer service told me my only option would be to place a new order and all three next shipments are reserved for pending orders, which means waiting until mid-March.
I was already compromising development time by having to wait until mid-February, but I can't go through further delays.
Sorry to hear that. That seems hard to have predicted that would have happened. If you are willing to pay more I think newegg might have some boards to sell for almost the same price soon.
Check out:
Here is a great deal on the Raspberry Pi 83-16530 ARM7 900Mhz CPU 2 Model B Project Board , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-300-003
I found.
Not sure what preorder means.
Unfortunately, I'm in Canada and unlike Newark, the website isn't shared between countries. So far, I found canakit.com is claiming they have them in stock for $69 CAD. I have just placed an order, hoping I'll soon get a tracking number by email.
Just one data point: I ordered mine Feb 2 on the Newark website. My credit card was billed Feb 9 and the board arrived on my doorstep in Maryland Feb 11.
From this and previous experiences, I'd say these folks are very proficient at filling orders once you're in the queue.
