Raspberry pi 2 and gertduino

I have a gertduino wich works fine on my Raspberry Pi B+. Than i did buy a Raspberry Pi 2. My Gertduino don't work on the RPi 2. I checked everything and Even installed a new version of Raspbian on my RPi B+ and installed the gertduino software again on both the RPi 2 and RPi B+. I am sure both sytems have the same software now and the same settings.

I can program the gertduino on the RPi B+ but NOT on the RPi 2. I use the same avrdude from gordon on both RPi's. but ./avrsetup doesn't work on my RPi 2. I don't know what to do, please help me.

Try the following because this may be software related...

sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install python-dev sudo apt-get install python-rpi.gpio

Well, I've also a Gertduino with RPi 2. Working well after struggling for a few days. What I discovered, the GPIO behavior in Raspbian had been changed. The reset pin for Gertduino (GPIO 8 on RPi) is now in default Input mode, so the level sensed by the Gertduino will be LOW (reset active, not running). With the script reset_off in the Gertduino manual, the reset pin will revert back to Input mode after the last statement (echo 8 > /sys/class/gpio/unexport). So, the Gertduino uC will not run. I solution is to run the reset_off script manually, and leave the last statement. I've no problem to program the uCs on Gertduino, either by avrdude from Gordon or by using Arduino IDE (with patching).

no way to have gertduino ok with raspberry.
does anyone really had it work one day ?!?
raspberry pi3
gertduino rev5
raspbian jessie

i'm lossing my faith ....

this is the issue i get every time
avrdude: AVR device not responding
avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.

Hello. Are you still using the Gertduino board.
Agreed it is a difficult board.
