I've installed Ubuntu 14.04 one a Pi 2 but can't get flash or Google Chrome to install. Is there a better OS for the Pi 2?
Raspian was made by the makers of the Pi so if you are new I would start there. It will save you some headaches while you learn.
When Windows 10 comes out the there will be tons of new Pi users. Be prepared!
Just to correct slightly, Raspbian wasn't made by the makers of the Pi as far as I can tell, according to the Raspbian website.
