Wireless webcam for RPI 2

Hello I am Divina an IT student working on a wireless CCTV project.

I would like to use a Raspberry PI 2 on my project and make a CCTV out of Webcam but there's a catch. I need to connect more than two webcams on my RPI 2 and it needs to be wireless. What I mean is I need to make a multiple channel CCTV on a single RPI 2. I would like to know if it is possible. If yes, can I ask for the procedures on how to do that?

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    hey Divina!

Did you get any progress in this project?   I'm trying to do the same thing... I was kind of thinking that using a microcontroller for each camera, a button could turn on an specific camera and turn off all the other cameras, this way one could have even thousands of cameras, what you think about this idea?...    and do not forget tell me your thoughts and the progress you have already achieved  =D
