New Raspberry Pi OS release

I just discovered a new release date: April 4th 2022 of Raspberry Pi OS is now available.

Why I noticed? The file compression algorithm used for the file has changed from .zip to.xs. It took a few configuration changes to prevent my desktop from trying to restore the image when I wanted it to uncompressed it instead.

The release notes indicate the user pi is forced changed on first boot. I do like the note on improving ffmpeg performance. I'm going to dabble with ffmpeg on a Pi shortly. That will be my intro to the new release.
