NOAA Weather satellite setup on a Raspberry PI 4 using Raspberry OS either 32 or 64 bit

I do the step by step setup for the Raspberry PI OS 32 bit version, but it should equally work for the 64 bit version as I have done it previously. All you need is an SDR, aerial and a Raspberry PI 4 with Raspberry PI OS installed and about an hour to do it.

I show you how to install rtl-sdr drivers, GQRX, GPredict and WxToImg and set up automated recordings.

These instructions will work for any Debian/Ubuntu distro too including 64 bit

    I see.. I'm not sure either, this may be an issue due to this being a forum discussion rather than a blog (the latter has a delete option as far as I'm aware).

    It may require to do the deletion or suggest a way.

    On a desktop computer, if you have permission to delete them, it's under the 'more' option

    But there's other issues I kinda take with your post.

    1. Your link to your blog doesn't work? 
    2. You could've blogged your project on element14, rather than simply advertising a link to your blog - do consider blogging on the Community.
    3. You can go insert->video to insert the youtube video.

    4. The post is more suited to the Raspberry Pi group - so I moved it.

  • Also, it could be a blog, that would be more preferable than a discussion perhaps. You can start a blog by clicking on the red highlighted bit:

    Then, there are editor tools:

    Photos are inserted using the same tool. The photos and videos can be resized by dragging the corner.

    Code snippets can be added (for instance if your code is on GitHub but you wish to show some code directly in the blog for context):

    You can also do inline code or shell commands by highlighting the text and then selecting the inline code format like this:

    Sometimes it's worth bolding it too (highlight the text and type Ctrl-B). 

    Also contents insertion at the beginning of the blog post after you have the rest of the content done:

    Insert some tags, and click Post:
