Raspberry Pi Line

bluepitt
bluepitt over 2 years ago

I used to deal with element 14 years ago, like when the raspberry Pi4 came out.  This is why I am back, after ereading an article from Tomshardware site.

Just signed up and did the profile thing and now this.  Just starting!

I need for people to get together here and let's figure out what to do with the Raspberry Pi line!  I have most of the boards, do not have the Zero 2W.  My GOD man!  I WANT THE RASPBERRY PI LINE ROLLING AGAIN!

Have way too much time and energy working with these SBC's, WAY TOO MUCH to let that just disappear!

Anyway, going to stop rambling on here and moving on.

Let's hear what you people think?  Come on!

I haven't heard anything about the Raspberry Pi line disappearing.  I understand, though, that due to supply chain issues it's very hard to purchase one at the moment.

They recently shipped 100,000 units total of all models with production increasing through the year and reaching normal or near normal levels by 4th quarter. At the same time they announced no Pi5 this year, they need to focus on making some money before they start spending it again.

Raspberry Pi zero 2W is out of stock in pihut, citron etc. for a long time. Not sure if zero 2W will be available ever again.
