PST - Mechanical Design?

Hey Jan Cumps  as you scheme how to take over the test and measurement world with the RPI Pico in your corporate castle, have you given any though to what your PST tool might look like, beyond just a bare Pico.

I bought some Hammond 1551K enclosures awhile back for a Pico project.

I think there is room for a 5 pole terminal block if I cut the wall of the enclosure off.

Thoughts? Comments? Criticisms?

I am as bad as the no-name widget factories, I now have a PST before there is even a PST...

I am still waiting on some more ads1115 modules, so its not totally done...

Thanks JC for bringing this project to life, I think its pretty neat!

Coat the area you want removed with a layer of cheese spread.

lol I am not that knowledgeable in that department, I just enlisted help from my big scary mouse

    image

With 60 tungsten carbide teeth and horribly loud universal motor plus gear box (generic portable table saw) to hog out what I could.

The plastic is soft enough you can slowly work a utility knife through it to finish it up. Then a little cleaning with a file and a sanding block.

I am sure those more mechanically inclined might 3d print something custom or use their personal CNC machines lol

I'm a bit more subtle now but in the past I have used a soldering iron for quick and rough bit of plastic trimming.
