It's not (easily) possible, because the display uses connections that the TV HAT board requires. You'll hit several hardware connection and software issues with any workaround attempt, so long story short, this isn't very feasible for a beginner at all.

You could look to find a HDMI-attached display, or an analog-input composite video display, and then it should work.

Alternatively, depending on your needs, I've not checked, but it may be cheaper to buy a DVB-T board with built-in HDMI and infra-red remote control, i.e. no Raspberry Pi in-between. I don't know your requirements though.

Will the extra tall female  0.1 inch stacking header pins compose all three?

Mechanically yes, but electronically no because there would be a clash.

However with a HDMI or composite video display instead, since the display attachment is to different connectors on the Pi, that would work.

I doubt a European DVB-T terrestrial tuner will be much use in the US anyway, so GPIO clash may not be such an issue as an external  USB tuner may have to be used. (as already discussed in the previous post).

I've no idea where the OP lives (I assumed Area 51 was not it : ).

The setup suggested by the OP won't work anywhere in the world without a load of hardware+software workarounds. Even if it could be made to work, the quality will be awful. So many better ways to watch the news on a small display; either stream it from somewhere, or just use a small TV, or even a SDR dongle into a (higher-res) display on a mobile phone (or view news websites + video clips on phone).

US was briefly mentioned in the previous post about using a Casio EV-500 TV for the display via its composite input with the R-Pi DVB-T TV hat:

The audio is the concern. I am going to get the visual working first then decide whether an audio hat is needed?

You'll probably need to add a F-type to Belling-Lee adapter to your shopping list if you plan to use that antenna with the R-Pi TV Hat.

    Buy Now

However, perhaps keep in mind that although the antenna can potentially receive an ATSC TV signal, the Sony IC on the TV Hat can still only decode DVB-T/DVB-T2/DVB-C format signals.
