WIFI on 3B apt-get breaks..

Hi all. I'm still atempting to get WIFI working on my 3b. It boots up ok from the first img write, but no wifi. Then when I do an apt-get update / upgrade the Pi won't boot. It just gets stuck with a flashing underscore instead of booting into the gui. Any ideas here? I'm at a loss as to what to try next.

I'm using the image from March 2016.

The same thing I said after years of systems programming, all I do is write documents telling what I do. LOL

IIRC, there is a newer image than march 2016. As the pi3 was quite new back then, there are bound to be a few bugs that needed to be weeded out.

If you don't get the gui, but a console login, you can configure that with raspi-config. (just log in as pi, and type "sudo raspi-config". )
