Raspberry Pi replacement 7" touchscreen

I've cracked my touchscreen on the front of the official raspberry Pi 7" screen. Is it possible to get a replacement touchscreen?

Just guessing but I would imagine that a replacement glass / touch screen without the rest would be more than simply buying a new one. This has been a classic Laptop issue for years, mass production brings down the cost to make the laptop but when you want a one off part, wam, full and excessive price, its all down to the logistics of getting just that one part to you

Ok so my first post I said try this. Well I now have received my replacement screen. This is exactly the part for the Raspberry Pi 7" screen. So if you have broken your screen this is the one you want. Amazing the packaging was stellar and arrived unbroken. So razor knife and 5 minutes later I had a new screen. If you are looking for a replacement glass touchscreen like I was this will save you hours of NOT finding this screen!

It is an old post and above link is long dead, but do you by any chance still have name or part number for that touch panel? Touch panel on my Rasperry pi 7" display stopped working and i would like to repair it rather then replace the whole thing.
