Why Raspberry Pi 3 Model B having inbuilt bluetooth and Wifi capability costs less than Raspberry Pi 2 Model B not having inbuilt wifi and bluetooth
Why Raspberry Pi 3 Model B having inbuilt bluetooth and Wifi capability costs less than Raspberry Pi 2 Model B not having inbuilt wifi and bluetooth
If that is indeed the case, the reason is that the raspberry pi 3 is the current product and you should switch to using the Raspberry pi 3.
There are however a few industrial clients that designed a raspberry pi 2 into their products and for some reason do not want to upgrade to raspberry pi three. For those clients, and those alone, a raspberry pi 2 was designed and is being produced even though it will not get as many sales as the pi 3. (everybody who has a choice will buy a raspberry pi 3).
Note that the current pi 2 is a new design ONLY for compatibility for those who do not wish to upgrade to the pi 3. So design and one-time-costs for the production are distributed among a lower number of clients.
(The reason for the new design is that the processor of the original pi 2 is no longer being produced).
so would I be able to do Java programming for embedded systems on Raspberry
pi 3 model B... bcoz on oracle's website they have mentioned to use
Raspberry pi model B.... They have not suggested which Raspberry pi
versions to use... they have just mentioned Raspberry pi model B... so I am
confused... please help me out...
Yes, you should be able to run java on a raspi 3 model B or a raspi 2 model B.
If you are following a tutorial for java on oracle's web site, it probably won't matter which version of Pi you are using.
