sorry, but this the support newsgroup/forum for Cadsoft Eagle (a
schematic and layout editor) not a Raspberry Pi nor a general
electronic forum.
You will most likely get more answers if you move to a forum more
suited for your topic.

Hi David,
Monday morning perhaps element14jamie will be able to move your question to a more appropriate group for better response.

John,
I always read this issue of posting in a wrong place. But users themselves can move their post from one place to another simply editing it. Or not all ? When I make a mistake posting in a wrong place I'll do.

This is true, and I used to have a stock response and a screenshot describing how to move a discussion. The truth is that so many people simply never logged back in and the move didn't happen.
I see. This is something I have not considered yet.

Hi Enrico,
You are correct the author can move his or her own posting. However, the reason I do it this way is that I feel that the new person deserves a better welcome than being told he or she came to the wrong door and needs to get out and go to another entrance. Jamie is always prompt and welcoming in making the moves. Hopefully the trap that draws first users to the CadSoft group can be fixed and these misdirects will be eliminated in the near future.

Hello bestd25
Welcome to the element14 Community, we hope you enjoy it! I will move this over to the Raspberry Pi area as it is a better fit.
Thank you,
Jamie
