Just booted up a Raspberry Pi 2 with the bundled Noobs card. Everything works well except the WiPi.
lspci shows the device when it plugs in.
The network shows no networks available.
I tried editing /etc/network/interfaces and adding the following lines as described in the manual, but that had no effect.
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid <name of your WiFi network>
wpa-psk <password of your WiFi network>
