Need to connect HDMI and verify some control functionality on laptop

HI ,

 

I am using Raspberry Pi B+ model and i have to connect my laptop with board and verify some basic control functionality on that module.

So can you please give me some guidelines for procedding and also could you please provide path of user manual of this module ?
