Atari seems a name that want to come back with power in this years.....

So i have thought with all this rumors about Atari consols (nothing to compete with ATARI VCS Console). Why dont give an help to the community makeing a new ATARI 2600 Raspberry pi B3+ based console prototype, with a 3d printed case (not for commercially use) told by author found in thingiverse community and printed by a friend.

I have completly rebuilt the look of rasbian scretch to rensamble an Atari 2600 from wallpaper found on the net freeware and the menu made by me. I have installed Stella emulator to run all the Atari free roms and installed steam link to play the other Atari games i have on my spare pc via wifi or cable ethernet like Atari Vault i have bought. And the experience was really beautiful. Have a look at the pictures:

This is quite interesting and the whole RetroPi thing has been a bit popular.  Also, there has been a big uptick in reviving the older games from both consoles as well as Arcade as well as just remaking them with the current tools such as Spyro The Dragon, Doom and even Pac-Man.  Steam seems to have a nice collection of retro games and continues to expand.

Interesting enough, in my local, there is a group that is dedicated to keeping the original Atari 2600 alive and even offer repair services for those with failed devices.

    Thanks for sharing this.
