When can I get my hands on one, and which countries or regions will it be available to pre-order or purchase in?

We've been informed that the online stores (Farnell, Newark, element14, CPC) will start shipping the Raspberry Pi 5 the week commencing the 23rd of October. 
 At launch of the pre-orders the Raspberry Pi 5 will be available in: 
 
 Majority of Europe (EU) 
 United Kingdom (UK) 
 United States of America (USA) 
 Canada 
 Israel 
 India 
 Australia 
 New Zealand 
 Hong Kong 
 Singapore 
 
 As compliance certification is completed then more markets, regions and countries will become available in due time.
