I got as far as running setup.sh, then I got a message saying there is no GPIO support and to make sure I installed the right version. Then I tried avrsetup, after hooking up the Gertboard, got a message no command found.
Hi Allen and thanks again. I did go back and realized I haven't followed all the steps for installing the Arduino. I am getting old for this I'll give it another go tomorrow. Yes I have the version 2 manual, the LEDs pushbuttons and A/D and dad all worked out. Funny though I was reading the anolog voltage out with a DIGITAL meter go figure....
At the bottom of the first page you need to follow the first three bulleted points including this from part 3: After installing the Arduino software run 'avrsetup' to tell it what type of AVR you have on the Gertboard.
Can you confirm that you've got this far without any error messages please. Ta.
Hi again Alan. I got most of it working, only I went to download the Arduino on the projects page and what I got doesn't seem right. When I click on tools >board there is no listing for gertboard, not on the tools>programmer either.
