Hi Bill,

I had the same problem. Midori has a bug that causes all downloads to be zero bytes long, you will have to download another browser to get the software.

I went for Chromium and you can download it by typing this at a command prompt (without the quotes): 'sudo apt-get install chromium-browser'

I just received a gertboard and have not been able to download the software for it on the rpi. Can someone help me with this? I used the Midori browser which came with the rpi. Thanks in advance.

Hi Horea,

I came across the same problem. I had to download a different web browser (Chromium) to then download the software. Please see my review of the Gertboard for more information: http://www.element14.com/community/roadTestReviews/1501

Look in the 'Running Example Test Programs' section.
