This psu has turned out to be quite a hardy little beast!
i've had it on full load soak for about 4 days, and its quite happily heating up the bench humming away to itself. can cope quite happily powering fluctuating inductive and resistive loads, we didn't go crazy with it but full load switching at 20 hz didn't seem to phase it, although it did wander a little bit on the bench!
Simple to use, simple to wire, I know it's a budget psu, but would a piece of plastic over the mails terminals really cost that much?
On the same note, would it really cost that much more to have it as an auto detect input for the mains? One less switch to be set wrong?
Overall, Nice simple gutsy psu, having used many of lambda's jws series, and indeed, it wieghs almost the same as a jws50/15 its good to see a good value psu coming out of this stable again.

psysic? hows about printing the maximum depth the mounting screws can go and their size on the bottom lable, could save a lot of confusion and heartache. You know what engineers are like, the first thing to hit the bin is the instructions...:-)
