  • Hello all,

     

    Today I've received  LS50-5LS50-5 PSU The delivery address was Prague Czech Republic(Europe so I thing the rest of recipients will get its units soon

     

    My very first impression: The unit is really small, much smaller then I expected.

     

    So now I start thinking of proper test methodology.

    I received mine a little while ago an  LS75-12LS75-12 I haven't had chance to do anything with it yet though Probably going to be another couple of weeks still However my first impression is actually that it is quite large There seems to be a lot of open space inside and big blank areas on the PCB Indeed there are two fairly large capacitors marked on the PCB but not fitted I'm not sure if the same PCB is designed for multiple devices and this is the lower power version My target application is much more concerned about physical size than heat dissipation It needs to be compact but will be rarely running at full power output
