What can I do with my element 14?

I have just been given an element 14 for my birthday. I am reasonably computer savvy but I have no idea what I can do with my pressie.

Anyone tell mer?

Yes, it is indeed a Raspberry Pi!

So http://www.raspberrypi.org/quick-start-guide is the place to start. Be sure to also explore the rest of that site.

Theses are pretty hot at the moment - so putting "Raspberry Pi" into google will show you loads of stuff going on with them...
