Is the new Arduino Mega worth it?

Question

I have the old Arduino Mega 2560, and I was wondering if getting the new one is worth it, or if it was like the swich between the arduino uno r2 and r3.

I do a lot in robotics and I wanted to know if I should buy the new mega.

Since nobody other than you knows what is & is not important to you (you have not given any details), only you can answer this! We have no criteria by which to judge the "worth" to you . If you are not suffering any restrictions due to limitations of what you already have, then it's not worth it. If you are suffering restrictions, then a look at the specifications should tell you whether the Mega 2560 holds any benefits for you .

Arduino Mega has the more memory to and will take some time to get use too but I myself would try it atleast

But that doesn't address the question of whether it's "worth it".

Whether it's "worth it" is a value judgement - and the OP has given no criteria by which to judge that value!

We have no idea what value (if any) the extra memory has to the OP;

We have no idea what cost the "getting used to" represents to the OP...
