Are there any updates as to when successful applicants will be chosen?
Hi PaladinLaw - one of the E14 staff will have to answer the question to be accurate, but here are a couple insights. There were 76 applicants for qty 3 LattePandas, alot to consider thoughtfully. Often times the vendor also has some input, and the selected road testers are contacted first to confirm their participation. It may take a couple more weeks or more depending on the staff workload. I'm anxious to see the selections myself, looking forward to the official reply. :-)
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Guess I'm just being a little impatient. If really love to take this thing for a proper limit test as the specs are actually crazy, but unfortunately cannot afford to purchase one at this stage. Here's to be hopeful I'm selected i guess. Good luck to eveyone.
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing their reviews, but I'd be lying if I said a part of me wasn't disappointed that I wasn't selected
Received a LattePanda 3 today for Road testing, Im very excited to get started.
There are already published writeups on performance and specs. I'll focus more on ease of use, the clarity of instructions, and demonstrating & comparing its use with other SBCs.
srutledge - Greetings. I received the LattePanda 3 Delta 864, DFR0981 https://www.newark.com/dfrobot/dfr0981/lattepanda-3-delta-board-2ghz/dp/31AK8093?ost=dfr0981.
It is love at first site. The LattePanda3 has been powered, setup, and apps being downloaded for performing the specific Road Tests.
DFR0981 is running W10 without any indication it is less than a licensed W10 version. Will there be a surprise expiration warning in 90 days or is this SBC good for life running W10 ?
I'm so sorry I've missed this one. I would love to road test this device. I'm looking forward to read the reviews !

I'm looking forward to someone combining the use of the onboard Arduino with an action or actions observed in the operating system.

It should be good for the length of life of Windows 10 where it comes with a license.
